We left Buena Vista early.  At 5:10 am, Pastor Tim turned on the lights in the church.  After the groaning subsided, we got up (and found out there was not water for showers) and finished packing.  The ladies of the church made breakfast for us.  We loaded up and headed out by 7:30.  Pastor Serafin and his wife, Sari, and an elder from the church and his wife came with us.

We made good time.  We stopped in San Cristobol de las Casas for a bathroom break and a snack and made it to Tuxtla, Gutteriez by 11:30.  Our first stop: the hotel to drop off our bags.  Our second stop: Domino's Pizza for the answer to our dreams...pizza!

Boat Ride: After pizza, we drove to a river close to Tuxtla and took a boat ride through canyons that the river cuts through.  We saw much wildlife (egrets, herons, crocodiles, and spider monkeys).  The ride was 1.5 hours long and was a great way to end the day.

After supper, we had devotions, sharing what the trip meant to all of us.  We universally agreed that the people of Buena Vista were amazing -- having little but sharing it all with us. 

We then went to bed (some of did anyway) and look forward to the plane trip home!
