Friday, July 14: Leaving Church
On
Friday, July 14, our crew began gathering in the church parking lot at
10:00 pm. By 10:45 pm everything was packed and ready to go.
Pastor Jim gave some final instructions and offered a prayer.
We
sang "My friends, may we grow in grace..." but we sang it "My friends,
may we go in
grace".At 11:00 pm, three vans and one trailer left the parking lot.
